Our little one made her way into this world on March 11th at 10:47pm, 7lbs 12oz (just like big sis). She was born at the Naval Hospital in Pensacola in a very controlled , uneventful manner - she must have known Mommy was worried about the drive to the hospital and getting Maggie situated! These things are much easier when you have family around, which we don't!
So, I went to my appt. that day and was 4cm so the midwife made me go walk the Navy mall and come back to be rechecked. Good thing as I was 5cm when I came back and was immediately checked in. Maggie was at a friends house (props to Ann!). So, a quick call was made to Daddy, who did 80 from Whiting Field to the hospital (for those not from here, it's almost an hour drive!). Everything fell into place beautifully and then there was Paigey!
She has been a very good baby and Maggie has been a wonderful big sister. Lots of pink around our house these days. Maggie has been understanding with the nursing and has only tried to nurse her babies once or twice! I had friends warn me this might happen.....good thing Wiley wasn't around when she did it! We are very blessed and having a wonderful (yet sleepless) time with our girls.....very much looking forward to a full night's (or at least 5-6 hours) of uninterrupted sleep!
